Some things to remember when playing When the Levee Breaks: 1, wear the

slide on the fourth finger. 2, The tuning is, from 6-1, E, A, C, F, A, C.

3, It`s played on a twelve string, but can be played on a six, and now to

get on with it.

When the Levee Breaks

After the "It`s got what it takes to make a mountain man leave his home

oh well oh well oh well" line, and the slide that is shown above comes

After that another slide guitar enters (six string with regular tuning

(EADGBe), with a bit of fuzz or distortion):

The first opening riff is played pretty much throughout the entire song,

besides the other parts that I put here, so have fun with it.

Note: This song really only sounds the best if played in a band because

of the big time drums and hermonica, not to mention the multiple guitar
